He did lean into it, by about a foot actually. Hell of a game for Scherzer, especially coming off a 1-hit performance his last time out. I hate the Nationals, but I love me some baseball history.

Folty in the pen with his fastball would be something to watch if Wisler and Perez stay decent in the rotation. Plus, Weber, Kelly, and Carpenter in the AAA pen all could help too.

Ryan Weber and David Carpenter are both in AAA, pitching extremely well this year, and are viable solutions in my book. We shouldn't explore a trade at this point in the season for the pen when we are 'rebuilding', especially with two great viable options in the minors.
