GDT Game 3 : THE RELENTLESS

Honestly these Cards are the weakest team we met during the postseason after 2001.

Good grief, let's score one run for this guy. He's been amazing.

GDT Game 3 : THE RELENTLESS

I don't see a clear edge for the Braves as most do here. A rookie on his first postseason start is never a big advantage over a veteran, whatever his stuff. Of course, I hope he can settle down as soon as possible and we cruise to a win. The fact we would break the curse of always being behind...

GDT- 10/04/19: NLDS Game Two: St. Louis Cardinals @ Atlanta Braves

Folty controlling his emotions is key. He can very well falter or dominate (and he did both things this year, right vs the Cards). We will figure this out, if pitching keeps us in the game.

    NLDS Rotation Announced

So who got the L in game 1? If nsacpi got the loss, then The Choosen One must admit being a bad manager, for keeping him in the game despite a high post count...

gdt 10.3.19: time to defrock these molestering cardinals and their enabler holbrook

Honestly, what I have seen are two teams that didn't execute well. Both have been on the edge of disaster many times, both missed many chances, and both had good and bad luck throughout the game. Pitching wasn't great on either side, in general - not the kind of pitching that wins championships...

gdt 10.3.19: time to defrock these molestering cardinals and their enabler holbrook

LOL guys. I'm as unhappy as you for never winning a postseason series in almost 20 years. But reading this thread it looks like we are losing 6-0 in an elimination game... it's 1-1 in game 1, don't panic just yet...

Is there a nother team in baseball with a worse playoff history than us?

I think we have been the underdogs for a while now. Up until 2003, we went to the playoff as the favourites to win (at least) the first series, but that was not the case in 2004/2005/2010/2012/2013 (maybe in 2012, but that was one game). This doesn't justify exiting all the times, as in my...

Might as well not even play the NLDS

Being the underdog is cool, less pressure on the team. The only regret is all the injuries we have, very similar, unfortunately, to 2004/2005/2010. Game 1 is so important in a short series, we lost it since 2002, and look at what happened. As always, playoffs are a crapshoot, I wouldn't give...
