Having seen a lot of Adell here in Louisville, the kid obviously had all the tools and potential but kid also had a lot of swing and miss in his bat. There were questions about his ability to consistently make contact. They have obviously helped in that regard so far in his career.

Having had many first had looks at Brendan McKay I truly hope we get him. If we don't I would LOVE to get Jordan Adell from here in Louisville Ballard High School. Kid is UNREAL.

I hope from a UofL fan and Braves fan that they take McKay. Kid is a monster and I think he could profile well withe bat or pitching. Having said that I think would only be able to play 1B which kinda limits him with the bat with us.

Which is why I said I think he can fast track through in the pen. He is country strong and durable with fluid delivery. Just not sure he can actually be a starter as a pro.

Well his numbers weren't even the best on his own team lol but I get what you are saying. You know what they say about lefties though and he has the Polish on him already to fast track through in the pen.

Did you not just his performance Sunday against a young talented UCSB team? Doubt the kid sticks as a starter but he has a devastating slider and good command to both sides of the plate. Didn't win ACC pitcher of the year by accident.

Do you think McKay profiles better with the bat or pitching going forward? Me personally I think he move to the field and continue on with his bat than pitching.

Having seen Ray multiple times I would be disappointed if we take him with the 3rd pick. I would much rather have Lewis, Groome, or Moniak. Now next year I'm hoping we can make a run for Brendan McKay from UofL
