Late career Shuerholz is a bizarre cocktail of impressive player scouting (Edgar Renteria, Estrada, JD Drew, Teixeira, Jaret Wright) mixed with disastrous desparation.
JD Drew was legitimately MVP level that season.
The process to trade for Drew was awful, but JS got lucky with Drew staying healthy and breaking out. Then got extremely unlucky with Waino becoming a borderline HoF starting pitcher.
Such a weird transaction.
I’d add Feliz to that list (Matt Harrison had some good moments as well) but yea.. Braves have historically been good at self scouting their own pitching talent.
If the goals of US strikes is to dismantle the nuclear program and enact a regime change, I don’t see how that isn’t accomplished without boots on the ground.
Let’s hope we have knowledge of Russia and China’s next move (and that it is bystander)
