They probably will trade Clevinger because that’s how they’ve operated with the pitching factory they seem to have. I won’t be surprised if they keep him down for another 2 weeks and bring him up after they gain another year of control and trade him this offseason
Fried was dominating, I care less about multiple times through the order. I care that he was clearly gassed with a high pitch count and he’s our only good starter. I hate that call
Looks to me like max is incorporating some new pitches more-His normal four seam is 92-95ish, he’s throwing a sinker with some regularity at 90-91, his slider at 82-84, his curveball, his change up and I believe he’s throwing some cutters
The way they did the rules is weird. If someone is not on the 40 man it was only the first 6 days of the season, but for those already on the 40 it’s Tuesday
Seems like he also is throwing a sinker 91-93 and maybe a few cutters too? I know you just did it for Wright any chance you do an updated pitch analysis for fried?
I guess Rolen had less sexy tools and was less flashy, but as far as peak goes: Peak four years of War:
Rolen-9, 7, 6.5, 6.2=28.7
Vlad-7.1,6.7,6.2,5.9=25.9
