    Baseball Savant has Allen rated as the best SS defensively and overall 6th best defender in the majors. He shouldn't be replaced anytime soon if he keeps playing defense like that.

    Why wouldn't they have viewed Kelenic as someone to extend the window? They didn't acquire him to be a AAAA player. The idea was to have an above average player in left for the next 5 years for dirt cheap.
