Seager is the kind of difference maker you bet the farm on. I don't think they'll trade him but if they do we need to be all over it.

It's like the Orioles learned nothing from Chris Davis.

    Tankathon draft pick watch

MLB draft is such a crapshoot it's often better to have more picks than super high picks. So getting the Drake pick was a bigger get than if we were picking five spots higher.

This. The defense struggled early. But the young DBs have come on strong allowing Georgia to dial up the pressure. They had Simpson running for his life.

Blaming Morris is like blaming a dog driving a car for rear ending you. Sure the dog screwed up but the dog should never have been there in the first place. The real problem is whoever let the dog drive. Morris should never have been hired. He's nowhere near competent enough to do the job and...

I disagree about ND being favored but including Tulane and James Madison over them is pretty absurd. One is forgivable. Having both is pretty silly.

The Falcons are potentially the worst team in the league at the moment. They got beat by the Jets, the Saints just beat the Bucs. Not many teams in that bottom tier. Man, Morris was such a ridiculous hire. I can't believe anyone taking a legitimate look at the guy could ever conclude he's head...

This could also be posturing to try to get teams to pay more.

It's hard to believe the Falcons are this bad. This might be the most incompetent coaching I've ever seen. I had very low expectations of Morris when we hired him and I now think I vastly overestimated his abilities. One things for sure, no one can say now that his failure in Tampa was due to a...

I give him no leeway for Andersen. Draft publications can be lured in by shiny combine numbers but an NFL team needs to do better homework. If you're going to spend a second rounder on a guy who has minimal experience and played at a glorified high school, you better know what you're doing. TF...

Second round has been tough for us as well. Ebeketie has been marginal, Andersen was as boneheaded a pick as they come, and let's not forget Ritchie Grant.

Dubon gives the Braves a legit alternative in negotiations with a FA SS or in trade talks for a SS. The last thing you want when negotiating is to look desperate. Hopefully the plan is Dubon as a super utility and not a starter.

At this point I'd be shocked if the Falcons win more than 6 this year. Kirk is a shell out there and I doubt he stays healthy the rest of the way. That means Easton Stick at QB. Drake is literally our only WR and is out this week and maybe more. The OLine is banged up. Teams have figured out the...

The Falcons wasted a chance at a window on Raheem Morris. We had a good cap situation, some good young (and cheap) skill position players, a good O-Line, a core you can build on. Now we're staring at starting an injury prone QB next year that we still don't know if he's good or not. Drake is...

I find it absolutely remarkable that the Falcons convinced themselves that Raheem Morris was the guy. Just a monumentally poor decision.

The Dodgers are this year's Boogeyman. The team an agent for a player or a team trying to trade a player can leak is interested in that player to drive the price up. The Dodgers don't have to actually be interested. The rumor is enough to spur teams into upping offers.

Yep. The QB coach, the passing game coordinator, and half a dozen assistants need to be there. The dysfunction of this staff runs deep.

Did you see the comments by Penix about how he doesn't have anyone to discuss on field issues with? It makes the fact Penix never has anyone around him on the sidelines extra concerning.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Would be funny to see the Dodgers have to play scrubs for a decade.
