So Weiss was the top choice and Lehmann may not have been talked to...wow is all I can say. It's scary that this organization is that dumb. AA is definitely not as smart as I thought he was.

    I feel like we traded a 2008 Camry for a 2009 Camry

I hope Weiss is different from Snit but it's hard to get excited about this. Lombard as bench coach and Chipper as hitting coach would help.

I didn't realize Weiss and Lombard played together with the Braves.

Whatever trade he makes he's gonna take on money to keep the prospect package lower. AA is pretty predictable

Sinnard definitely adds some depth to things. Nacho is still blah to me. Use him as a secondary piece in a trade.

Yeah if anything this probably keeps Ronald from staying.

My biggest fear with this is that Weiss is given a really long leash and in 3 years the window is closed with nothing to show for it.

We already knew what we had in Nacho but Sinnard is pretty interesting. I have another bad feeling the Braves will keep Nacho as a utility guy and won't go after somebody like Donovan.

A couple of days ago we all thought Lehmann or Lombard were gonna get the job and Kim hadn't opted out so they must be working something out and here we are today with Weiss as manager and Kim is a FA. This offseason has started out as bad as it possibly could have.

The Braves are loyal I'm give em that.

We saw how Snit managed and this guy was giving him input on all of it so we are basically getting a younger Snit.

I'm gonna guess Lehmann turned us down. But like a few others have stated why not Lombard?

Spot on. Injuries played a part but regression was gonna happen at some point. I think Baldwin, Acuna, and Olson will be fine but everybody else is up in the air and you can't have that many on a roster with championship dreams. AA better spend the shit out of some money this offseason.

This. And we had a chance to really change things and blew it.

Snit is in an advisory role and he no doubt had a hand in this and McGuirk is super hands on with everything so he definitely cares.

Look at how certain teams bring in their relievers and swap out position players. They definitely impact every game.

Nah it's the way the game has changed more towards analytics and Weiss has been known in the past to not embrace it like Snit.

He definitely had to go along with it but Snit and McGuirk was all over this.
