Looks like he murdered July and August, then followed that up with a bad first 16 games of September. Game 17 was much better. Presumably, starting yesterday, I’m paying attention again, so he’s going to go back on a tear.
 
It's good to see the team string together a couple wins against terrible teams. Hopefully, it'll continue tonight and tomorrow.

He’s been bad going back to the 2nd half of August. His OPS has dropped 60 points in that time. Hence, why he isn’t MLB caliber right now.
 
Swanson isn't going well now, but he has also been very unlucky.

His September xwOBA of .255 is certainly not good, but his wOBA of .197 makes his results even worse than the inputs. That's the 2nd worst delta on the team this month for anyone with 50+ PAs. Freeman has been the most unlucky with a .414 wOBA and a .493 xwOBA...he is so damn elite.

A slump/injury coupled with small sample size bad luck has a way of making a player look really bad.

Braves call up David Lee. Because we desperately needed another lefty in the bullpen. AA was getting the shakes.
