2015 top 100 year in review

There are some bizarre individual rankings in there, but overall a pretty good list, and anybody who ranks 100 prospects in a single organization gets plenty of respect from me.

Very thorough with solid analysis. Just disagree with the use of the term, "prospect," after around Top 20 for any organization. At a certain point, many of them are simply minor league players.

I get what you're saying, but 1) I think the Braves legitimately do have more than 20 (and actually more than 30) guys who are legitimate major league prospects. That doesn't mean they all have a chance to be a star, but I think anyone with a legitimate major league future or real chance can be considered a prospects. And 2) On some level, I think any minor league player is a prospect on some level. For example, that list itself has guys like Minter, Cabrera, Roney, Withrow, Weigel, and Whalen outside the top 40 and lists Povse at 39. A lot of those guys are RP prospects, but they are undoubtedly major league prospects. There's really nothing stopping any minor league player from having at least a chance to progress and advance to the major league level. So I'm fine with calling all minor leaguers 'prospects' on some level.

In addition, guys like Weigel come out of nowhere to surprise every year. There are a lot of guys in the Majors who at one time were not considered legitimate prospects until the broke out.
