The CBO just published the numbers through April for fiscal year 2022.
https://www.cbo.gov/system/files/2022-05/57974-MBR.pdf
For the first 7 months of FY 2022 the deficit stands at $360 billion, down from $1.932 trillion in FY 2021.
Interestingly it is also down from the last pre-covid year. The deficit for the first 7 months of FY 2019 stood at $531 billion.
Good to see that considering how much the deficit increased from FY 2016 ($585 billion) to FY 2019 ($984 billion).
