Figured JD was due for a day off. Snit continues with the plan to simply slot Camargo directly in place of the guy he is relieving. Not optimal, but I like the idea of remaining consistent.

Soroka just looks really good. Great stuff and command. Maybe overthrowing a tad that inning. We need this kid to stay healthy and if he does he's a lock to be a TOR starter.
 
Soroka looking as nasty as ever. He's currently leaving a lot of pitches middle/middle, but that last breaking ball was buried beautifully.

He is pretty clearly he best of the young guns. That shoulder needs to cooperate.

Soroka was pretty consistent in the mid 95's to low 96's that inning with his fastball.

I'd hate to waste him there but I guess it depends what FF does to upgrade the pen

He pitched 150 innings in 2017 then 50 last year. I imagine he's good for 100-150 innings this year.

I think they can manage his schedule enough to nurse him through the season as a SP who is available for the playoffs.
