Crazy how this years offense is better than last years jugular.

We're nearing the quarter season mark, so it's still early, but they do seem to play within themselves quite well. They seem to be playing "smarter" this year, but that may not be the case.

Braves seeing some real extension with the bats this morning. I thought Wood pitched yesterday?

Need some power bats but there's some pieces in place on the current offense going forward.

Jace, Simba, Nick, and Freeman.

Need a power bat to supplement it depending on if Mallex Smith is legit for CF or not.

results thus far say it is

I think the eye test tells us the same.

Still early but its pretty funny that all the talk we heard in the offseason is how epically bad the offense would be. Still much work left to be done but I would say the rebuild is going very well so far.

In spite of our middling record and this team's glaring weaknesses--the back end of the starting rotation, the bullpen, and a lack of power--this can really be a fun team to watch when the bats are going well.

Certainly fun to watch.
