Shae Simmons gets his money's worth by throwing 32 pitches in his one-inning stint to start the game in Gwinnett. 17 strikes, 15 balls. Gave up a double to lead off the game and then proceeded to walk the bases loaded. Then struck out the side with two looking and one swinging.

He did that last time.. Obviously rust on that engine... but his first start was leadoff triple/K/K/walk/steal/K 31 pitches if I remember correctly.

We're just telling him to get in a mess to simulate a high leverage situation. Simmons is that good!

Albies and mallex smith = bash brothers

Their hero.

I know this is in jest, but next to Viz he is easily the best arm we have for that. I like SS a lot going forward. He was impressive early.

I really like Jenkins.. he has pitched great this year.. But he won't survive in MLB with a 1.4 WHip.. He really needs to bring that down.

3 homers for Ozzie this year...in the upper minors...at age 19 (all year)...is certainly encouraging.

Jenkins gets it done with something different that's for sure. Never really racks up the k's ?lots of weak contact maybe?

Wouldn't be surprised to see Shae back with the big club by this time next week - they probably want to see him go on back-to-back days at least once before calling him up.

Who was the toolsy OF that was starting to put it together last year from a Wren draft? I can't remember his name and haven't seen it in a long time... Vague enough?
