MOVES: Closer Ryan Kelly promoted to Gwinnett from Miss.
Gwinnett places Elmer Reyes on restricted list. IDN why.
Ryne Harper moves to Miss. from Rome roster.
Mitch Osnowitz moved back to Rome from extended spring.
Brad Roney moved back to extended spring (Danville) from Rome.
J.J. Franco on Rome DL (back strain).

Figured it wouldn't be long before Ryan Kelly got a bump - guessing we'll see him in Atlanta before the season's over. Think there may be a couple others we see get a look in the pen before the end of the year (Hursh being one of them of course).

Yea, no surprise about Kelly's promotion. If he can continue such success with Gwinnett then I agree he'll be in Atlanta at some point. He's come a long way since we first signed him in 2013 when he was coming off a rough year.

I just turned on the Rome game after Gwinnett went into a rain delay, Joey T was coming to the plate as I turned it on. Well, guess what happens to Joey? Fastball hits him right near his hand wrist area. He looks to be in pain at first base too. I hope he's not hurt again, it was his right wrist this time.

Nice night for Carlos Salazar.

Really was. ERA down near 2 is looking good. He is a high upside arm that scuffled a bit to start out. Probably found a home in the pen?

I think his fastball flirts with 100. It's his lack of control that's been killing him. He's a guy who could really move up quickly if he finds his groove.
