I'm expecting a big game from Newcomb tonight. Not sure why. Just got a feeling he'll be on.

I hope so.. Tennessee has a good lineup and the pitcher for them tonight has been lights out this season. a league leading .290 ERA.. yes that is right..(1 ER in 31ip).. That will be the game of the night in my books.. I hope Dansby takes his ass yard tonight..

Fill us in on who he is, and why he was out of baseball for five years?

Multiple arm problems. He was one of the Braves' heralded signings out of Australia (a few years after Glenn Williams) who had been pitching in Australia after recovering from his arm surgery (I think it was TJ). Must have shown enough for the Braves to bring him back over here.

He's left handed and has a pulse. That would get him most of the way to a contract with the Braves right now.

Encouraged by Newcomb's start tonight. Went 6 IP with 1 BB and threw more strikes than usual tonight. Surrendered 8 hits, but it's a step in the right direction.

Inciarte on base three times Friday night. That should do it for rehab.

came to say this.. really struggled early. gave his BB in the 1st or 2nd.. But came back and pitched a great game.. Kudos..

I don't even care about the hits or runs against Newcomb. 1 bb through 6 innings is what I wanna see from him.

I didnt think Perez was capable of a 1 hit inning much less 1 hit game. Too bad AAA didnt get their second no hitter this year.

Rico, since you locked your top prospect thread, I'm going to point out here that you have yet to give Soroka the love he deserves.
