Don't know who needed tonight the worst -- Sims, Thurman or Fried. All I know is that ALL OF THEM got it. Huge night to build on.

Albies looks like he is starting to get the bat going again. Swanson's recent struggles continue so far tonight.

Swanson missed three games (or was it four) for his friend and teammate's funeral. Don't expect him to just pick up where he left off.

How bout a blockbuster? Teheran and FF for AJ reed, bregman, and another prospect or 2

I'm in. I don't see how they are gonna be super competitive next year anyways. Reed and Bregman would probably make us more competitive next year anyways.

Now that Allard has joined the Rome rotation, we have the 6 arms, listed below. Is a promotion from this group imminent, or will they go with a 6-man rotation? Not sure what the precedent is on something like this in A ball, but I'd be tempted to promote Weigel to Carolina for his next start.

Fried (22)
Weigel (22)
Touissant (20)
Sanchez (19)
Soroka (19
Allard (19)

Swanson is definitely in the midst of a slump. Players have those sometimes. He'll probably get hot again at some point. The good news is that he's playing solid defense.
