Hopefully Shuster neutralizes Votto and Fraley, too. Those 3 players were basically their offense last night.
 
Smoltz on the London game broadcast just said that you can be good in the regular season by being a team that swings and misses all of the time, but come the postseason you will fail every time. Said that it is a fact that has even been consistent in today’s game, that teams that strike out a lot don’t make deep postseason runs.

Not sure what Smoltz is smoking over there in England ….
In 2021 we had the fifth highest K rate in baseball at 24.3% - we went pretty deep…
 
I am so tired of this Reds winning streak. I live in the area, and it's the first time the posers have discussed baseball in a decade.
