6/28/2015 MINORS SUNDAY: Danville loses 1-hitter; Toussaint Debuts! Janas article

Good to see Janas back on the mound. He's been a pleasant surprise thus far this year.

Hope Jenkins can rein in the walks. That seems to be his biggest problem right now.

Not surprising. Bethancourt has a history of being a slow starter on his first round of a level, and when he repeats it, his numbers kick up. I'm curious to see if he will use his second stint at the big league level as his second round.

That was my only issue with his sporadic playing. He's done the same thing at every level. The difference is that even as a slow starter, he adjusted to be at least a threat offensively. Defensively, I think everything was affected so I'm hoping he gets a real shot soon.

CB shouldn't come up until we are ready to play him 4/5 days. It is what we should be doing now.

Seems to be the problem with most of our big time starting prospects

Isn't that to be expected? We went for high risk/high reward with our new pitching prospects. Great arm talent but not as much control. As opposed to the sean Gilmartins of the world. We grab 3-5 of those guys and pray 1 of them stays healthy and learns to throw strikes with that stuff while some others become pen arms.

I wasn't trying to be negative in my comment... they are all very young... not worried.
