MLBTR: "The Braves released right-handed pitcher Mitchell Boggs, according to the International League transactions page. Boggs, 31, signed a minor league deal with Atlanta back in April but didn’t pitch all that well, posting a 6.08 ERA with 1.4 K/9 and 6.8 K/9 in 13 appearances."

Braves probably making room for recent signings Aardsma and Eveland here, though Boggs did bad so he was a goner at some point anyway.

Organizational sweep :-(

Beginning to think we're going to see Wisler soon - maybe the next time through the rotation.

Right now its Williams Perezs job. He hasn't done anything to lose it yet.

He has an awfully tenative hold on that spot - walking 5 guys Friday night while the bullpen is driving everyone nuts by walking the entire planet certainly loosens a finger or two on that hold.

From all accounts the Braves really like Perez. In a developmental year like 2015 I think they are going to give him more chances to prove if he should be in the long term plans or at least showcase him to other teams.
