Braves facing the pitcher they were dying to get in the Mark Teixeira deal.

We're breaking tradition here and maybe we can change to horsecrap luck.

ANGELS

1. Calhoun RF

2. Trout CF

3. Pujols 1B

4. Hamilton LF

5. Kendrick 2B

6. Aybar SS

7. Freese 3B

8. Conger C

9. Wilson P

BRAVES

1. Heyward RF

2. BJ Upton CF

3. Freeman 1B

4. J Upton LF

5. Gattis C

6. Johnson 3B

7. La Stella 2B

8. Simmons SS

9. Harang P

I know I will get slammed for this but I'd try:

LaStella
Johnson
Heyward
Freeman
Upton
Gattis
Upton
Simmons

for a while and see what happens.

Now batting . . .

With freddie struggling a bit, I'd love to see
1. TLS
2. Jup
3. JHey
4. Gattis
5. Freddie
6. CJ
7. BJ
8. Simmons

Oh well. I live in socal...we better win this series so I don't have to listen to fair weather angel fans talking crap.

That's the current ideal lineup, in my opinion.

It's probably quibbling, but with that 6-9 (counting the pitcher), you'd have the Three Stooges (plus Shemp) after Freeman. I don't know how much line-up construction matters in a line-up with this many holes. Maybe it calls for more possible synergy, which would validate your changes. But it would put a ton of pressure on the upper part of the line-up to never fall short when a productive opportunity arose. I'm open to anything at this point.
