The Braves were in their second straight World Series. The future was bright, both at the big league and the minor league level. Everyone was excited about the development of 1990's first round and first overall draft choice, one Larry "Chipper" Jones. The good folks at Bowman recognized Chipper's potential and put out a baseball card for our future Hall of Famer. It was part of a series where these top-flight athletes all wore street clothes.

So, BEHOLD THE 1990'S:

Chipper is wearing a long sleeve button up shirt with shorts and a brown belt. Oh, and he's wearing socks with shorts.
