He's out-performing JP Crawford in AA, Phillies top prospect, who is 2 full years older.

anyone have exit velocity on him? I think what makes me believe more and more is that ppl are saying he's hitting the ball hard. Not a HR guy, but legit gap power. Not only slapping it around and taking advantage of minor league fielders and parks.

Best arms are in AA, so is there any reason to promote him? AAA guys will have more polish, but this is not a hacker with a hole in his swing that polish can exploit. It's a small strike zone with a great eye and hit tool. Probably best for him to look at elite stuff over better polish, no?

THat was my thought...Promote Swanson to AAA and leave albies in AA. If you're thinking Swanson has a good shot to be an everyday player in MLB in 17, then we need to get him out of A+.

I know exist velocity can be deceiving to the eye but when I've seen him play in Pearl it looks like the ball really jumps off his bat. I missed the game Monday where he hit the home run but a friend of mine at the game said he squared it up and the ball left the field quickly. He is definitely not a bloop single an take advantage of a bad defense hitter.
