Just wondering if any of y'all are aware that anti-vax activism has its roots mainly in left wing circles.

And if any of y'all have considered the possibility that the anti-vax movement in its current incarnation is a conspiracy spread by the left with the objective of replacing the population of red voters.

It might be a particularly devious use of reverse psychology. The left tells everyone to get vaccinated. Which convinces everyone on the right it must be a bad thing.

I was wondering if covid vax hesitancy would have spillover to other vaccines that have long been uncontroversial.
 
Anti-Vax is just a term that was created by who else the Pharma industry to stop anyone from questioning.

Most of the people who don't want their kids vaccinated have taken the COVID jab. This goes way beyond Anti-Vax but leave it to you to continue to push the establishment narrative.

I believe either you have a child or your wife is pregnant. Will you plan on vaccinating your child/children? I’m referring to the basic and commonly suggested vaccines (TdaP, MMR, HepB etc.)

I’m waiting till my child is older >6 months but I have no plans on not vaccinating my child with vaccines that have been around for decades.
 
I'm just trying to warn y'all. Hollywood and the Marin County moms have set a trap for y'all using devious reverse psychology and in some cases reverse reverse psychology. Not too late to get out.

Just to give you an idea of how insidious the power of suggestion can be consider this. The proper way to spell anti-vaxx is with two x's. But I deliberately spelt it with one x to throw off my friends on the right. And sure enough both thethe (post #3 in this thread) and sturg (post #4) are now spelling it with one x.

Do you really want to follow this path? Think it over. Consider who is behind it.

everyone has their own reason...in some cases it reflects a triumph of ideology over altruism...in other cases it is more a mix of ignorance, fear and distrust

an example of the former is the cheering at CPAC for low vaccination numbers...weird and sad that the Marin County moms have broken the right this way
