Andruw Jones and Ginji Akaminai had run-scoring singles in the 10th inning Thursday, leading the Rakuten Eagles past the Yomiuri Giants 4-2 for a 3-2 lead in the Japan Series.

Jones [...] also hit a three-run homer in a Game 4 loss for the Eagles.

I was happy for Ross, especially seeing him have the big hit in Game Five. But I think Andruw is more rightfully accorded Lifetime Brave status, as cool as Ross was in his several seasons with Atlanta.
