was told more than once when someone asked where was i from and i said USA, they would say "oh, Obama Land"

they love him there

was close to where his uncle or dad or whatevers village though. told me it was a few Km down that road while pointing

no but outside of people wanting to ask me "can America really be dumb enough to elect Trump as president?"

they usually talked about their own politics.

corruption of the police force was the biggest one the locals in Kenya talked about to me
 
Kinda OT sidenote... I have been DVR'ing the Africa in HD series (Savannah, Congo, Kalahari etc...) from BBC along with their other shows The Hunt, etc... and have been watching them with my 2 and 3 year old. Truly amazing looks at nature, and captivating for adults as well.

Back on topic... Africa is on the to do list. A must on the to do list actually... I'd like to hunt some plains game with my bow but also to just go and see and experience the dark continent.
 
honestly can't imagine the deranged mind that would want to shoot/kill any of those animals

got to get out of the car and take a pic and talk to an armed ranger of some rhinos. was an amazing experience and i told him to put another round in anyone that comes to kill these rhinos and he said he could do that

So you're okay with killing, just not killing some gross, overgrown, completely useless, leftover genetic freak from the dinosaur age? I think I agree with you.
