Nolan Kingham now at 24 straight scoreless innings. He doesn’t strike out many and isn’t getting a ton of ground balls, but he doesn’t walk anyone. I’m not overly excited about him, but could be something to watch if we get into serious depth issues.

Waters...
10.8% bb, 30.2% k

Both are much improved from last year, but obviously still work to be done on the k rate

How good has Franklin V been this month? After posting a .481 OPS in May, he's rocketed to a 1.436 OPS for June to get himself into the mid-.800 OPS for the season. The improvement has been across-the-board, but the biggest contributor to the launch into the stratosphere is his 8 HRs this month after not hitting any in May. College guy who missed his junior year in 2020 due to a skiing injury and it looks like we may have found something.

Touki at Gwinnett. Hopefully he's effective, and he's back in Atlanta soon

Touki has had about the same amount of success as Wright at the big league level. I’m a big Touki guy, but I don’t know why you’re so sure he will help us. It’s like everyone with Shane Greene before we signed him.

I think it is time both guys focus on being pen arms. They may unlock something there.

Greene is just a guy. I know he's sucked ass so far but he's had a 3.81, 3.79, and 3.84 FIP 3 of the last 4 years. That's fine as a middle relief option. Is there a widely known secret that's he's rapidly declined that caused him to not have much interest this offseason?

I agree, but people acted like it was gross incompetence that we hadn’t signed him and treated him like a real difference maker.

Is he a sinker guy that gets them to chop them into the ground?

He was one of the guys that I had to watch, but I've had him more for the AAAA shuttle based on stat lines.
