Black on Black violence - Where is the uproar?

lol, I dunno man, I think , in a free republic, people should be able to own wtvr markets they can. Control what they can, influence what they can. Every single person who whines about "special interest" or "the corporations man" or 'rich people" would do the exact same things if put in those positions, they just don't like it because of jealousy, a sense of unimportance or a combo of the two. If I could make a billion dollars stealing money from indians and selling the mineral reserves without going to jail, i would start doing it tomorrow!

it comes down to this, people only seem to hate special interests that don't jibe with their own, so it isn't a matter of some high moral ground, it's just regular old partisanship

To each his own I guess, or as John Wayne said it in my favorite John Wayne movie, Hondo, "A man ought to do what he feels is best". And just for the record I don't have anything against rich people at all, just rich people who got there by, or stay there by stomping of the heads of good honest hard working Americans. To me they're the backbone and the soul of this country, not some ahole criminal (by my definition, not by legal terms) like the smug prick who bought the AIDS drug and jacked up the price 7500 times. He was condemned by some in this forum for what he did, but he was also highly praised by others. "If you CAN do something, it's OK to do it". Now he's in jail, but not for the way he treated regular people or sick people, but he made the mistake of screwing the 1%, the same as Bernie Madeoff.

Oh and just for the record, I am FAR from perfect, but if I had a chance to make a billion dollars by stealing money from Indians and/or selling mineral reserves I wouldn't do it. But hey, that's just me.

I suppose there's truth in that statement, just know that my moral high ground is based on a moral high ground of someone much higher than myself, and I'm not talking about the arrogant bald ahole on Shark Tank, but again, that's just me. As I said earlier, to each his own. Just beware of the lie of Social Darwinism, when people get that attitude where they are sure they're the "alpha" they are assuming an awful lot and most of it is wrong.
