Braves Acquire Zach Stewart From White Sox

MLB Trade Rumors:

The Braves have acquired right-hander Zach Stewart from the White Sox in exchange for cash considerations, according to the Chicago Tribune's Paul Sullivan (on Twitter).

I'm guessing more depth. He had a 4.25 ERA in AAA last year and has a career 6.82 ERA in the majors. I guess the one small potential positive is that he has a career 3.98 xFIP. His HR rate is insane though.

Not sure if this means things are bad for Medlen, or they're doing this just in case. Definitely have to be worried about Meds at this point.
 
With Minor and Medlen both possibly being on the Dl to start the year and who knows about Floyd, just simply depth. At this rate or injuries, Garcia will be our ace soon.
 
this guy's major league numbers are awful. AAA filler at best,pretty bad in AAA last year and if the White Sox have no use for him...
