He's Janish with worse OBP skills and a little more pop He's really fast but you tend to need to be on base to use that skill set. Bottom line, he sucks.
 
Just more depth. I had higher hopes that Wren would go out and get someone that actually is good, but there is still 10 or so days left to do that. I think this is the baseball gods trolling us. A lot of people want Uggla gone and now we are seeing Janish, Gosselin, and E.Johnson as our options at the moment.
 
See my celebration over this move in the game thread. If I see him costing us games like he did to a hot KC team recently I won't be happy.
 
He's a body. Somebody to eat IF innings defensively so we can PH for Janish. A no cost-no loss type of guy.

He won't be on the post season roster.
 
getting someone good????? first that player would have to get past all the other teams below the Braves.
Also good players aren't given away it would cost a good Braves players....so how would u have Wren do it???

Wouldnt surprise me if Wren doesnt do a waive of Johnson in a week when Uggla comes off DL. But, Somewhere out there there has to be an infielder who can hit over 2oo. Bring back Belliard of Belanger.

Wow, that's worse than I thought. I do remember this error that cost KC a game (and also ended up being his final game with them).

Note, just click on "video" if that link doesn't pull up the error video. It's the first one on the video list for that game.

The old "you can't steal first" syndrome. Not much on this move. The only thing he has on Gosselin is experience.
