so depressing

don't care if the 4 million is good value

our manager is gonna play him everyday and bat him 5th. :puke:

Donaldson is gone. Nicky Singles and his 5 homers will be the cleanup hitter again.
Well we declined Julio’s option. If we’re keeping those two cheap then we’re probably going after someone expensive. If it’s not Donaldson I feel we will get a big bat. I don’t really see us signing a front line starter.

That's exactly what I would have done if I was AA. Hopefully both Markakis and Snitker were receptive.

If Snitker platoons him, cool, i'll believe it when i see it.

It’s looking more and more like the OF is already set.

Not awesome, but not a terrible short term plan considering Pache and/or Waters should be ready sometime in 2020.

I would like to see a better RHH than Duvall acquired, but the short side of a platoon is less important than several other holes in the roster.

So rather like when AA said he brought in Hamilton to be a pinch runner, and defensive replacement, and Snitker decided to bat him 50 times in a month?

I hated this at first, but if it is truly as part of a platoon in LF (and especially if we use the "saved" money to improve in another area), I can get behind it. Plus, it keeps the Mukaki rebuild chugging along for at least one more year. Who would've thought that we would still have Markakis for the 2020 season. Wow.
