Playoff rules:
Regular season is now over and it's playoff time. As shown by the scoreboard, the four players advancing to the playoff round are bravesnumberone, goldfly, Tapate50, and NinersSBChamps. I will have the matchup assignments at the bottom of this post.

We will go by Game of the Week rules, so for the game you are assigned, a winner and score is needed. What I want you guys to do is send me a PM with your prediction. Once I get predictions for each game, they will be posted on this thread. Once I post it on the thread, the picks are locked in and cannot be changed, unless something happens that would affect the possible outcome of the game, such as an injury or suspension. If that happens, I will offer a chance to change. Otherwise, it is locked in. The two winners will then pick the National Championship Game for a chance to win the game. With that, here are the matchups:

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (Washington vs. Alabama): NinersSBChamps vs. bravesnumberone
PlayStation Fiesta Bowl (Clemson vs. Ohio State): Tapate50 vs. goldfly
 
even crazier is that i almost went with 34

guess it really doesn't matter on the score though since we took opposite teams anyway

i feel Crimson might have to reach out to whomever hasn't put a pick in for the other game
 
Well, the result of the Fiesta Bowl made it very easy for me to declare a winner. Obviously, goldfly wins that matchup. Looking at the Peach Bowl picks, bravesnumberone is declared the winner. Thank you Niners and Tapate50 for your participation.

So the finals will have goldfly and bravesnumberone. Same thing I asked you to do for the semifinal games. Send me a PM with your pick on the Alabama/Clemson game. Once again, I will post both picks when I get both of your picks in my inbox. And once again, once I post them, they are locked in and cannot be changed.
 
I promise Crimson although I am not as big of a College Football fan as I was 10-12 years ago, I will make a concerted effort to participate next season. Thanks for your work.
