David Price = awesomeness as a pitcher and a person

I only have this but the bleacher report is better.

Personally I would not spend 25 a year for a pitcher because you are paying almost a mil a game but what he do for others, Bleacher Report, shows you he is about the team and others and not himself.

I heard him on Dan Patrick, Jim Rome and Doug Gottlieb shows, the only things I listen to on radio, and he is like humble as humble as you can be. Going to Vanderbilt, a touch below IVY schools, I can see it.

If he accepts 18 to 21 mil, I would consider it. I can't see our franchise paying more than that, we got burnt so many times with pitchers and none of them panning out except on trades.

Haa Haa on PRICE is too high.

he might be too high for me as well. I would not pay a starter more than 18 mil. 500k per start is too much but I know that is cheap for quality starters. I just like his demeanor. Kershaw and Greinke gets almost a mil and they are sitting at home, along with Scherzwer.

Let's just do ourselves a favor and delete all threads that even mention Price in Atlanta.

I can't fathom why so many talk about it like it's a real possibility.

Instead, we can talk about how Mallex Smith and Max Fried are 'near' elite and circle-jerk about 2020 ... because isn't that about what the over/under on a .500 team for Atlanta is now?

Price is too high.

If we have the same awesome offense thethe raved about, all we really need to do is sign Price and Greinke. We could probably move Freeman to help it happen.

If we moved Freeman to help the pitching and Teheran to help the hitting we should be pretty good.

You're living in fantasy land, I'm living in reality. The reality where there's no chance that the Braves front office even calls Heyward's agent, because as those of us living in reality know, neither side is interested in getting back together after the way the trade happened. Whether Heyward is the best player the Braves can sign to improve the team is irrelevant at this point. IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Stop dreaming, it's over.

When have I mentioned getting Heyward?

When have I mentioned getting Heyward?

I really don't care if you did or not. I'm not going to get into one of the daily hour long back and forth arguments on the board. I don't have the time, I actually have to work for a living and my life doesn't revolve around this board, unlike some on here who are posting 18 hours a day.

Oh, back to the topic at hand, maybe you personally didn't say it, but many here are thinking and hoping for it.

And yet you're still the one who mentioned it. Everyone who actually likes Heyward has moved on, while his haters can't let it go.

For clarification, the topic at hand is David Price.
