Went to the milb.com and saw a highlight of my man Hessman hitting his 397th career minor league bomb and went to see where he sat on the leaderboard for the IL. Four ex-Braves in the top 7 HR hitters in the league (Gotay and Hessman with 8, Betemit and Mejia with 7). Mejia will obviously drop out of the leaders, but I'll be watching this one. My guess is all three of them will spend a lion's share of the season in AAA.
Please don't confuse this with the "I wish we had these guys back" threads that populate the board. They had their chances and came up wanting. I'm actually surprised that Gotay is still in baseball.
