False Equivalence

The tesla bluestar also known as the 3rd generation car will be the mass market tesla car with a price range starting in the low to mid 30's. The only probelm is it has a 2017 street date.

I'm not sure I get your point of owning here.

They're out of my price range, and as I mentioned earlier the oil industry has spent years convincing people that fossil fuels are the only alternative, thereby establishing a modern day economic monopoly. Tesla is really one of the first companies to break through because they're an electric specific brand. I bet if Nissan, Chevy, or Ford only had to work with the Leaf, Volt, and Focus Electric, they'd do whatever possible to push it.

Thanks to the "Free Market", it's taken this long for a company like Tesla to be close to offering a cheaper and affordable electric car.

But of course, you aren't convinced that oil companies have played a major role in setting us back in this area because the "people have chosen gasoline over electric".

Again, cars have been produced for 100 years, high tech computers only the last 30 years and look at how far each have progressed and got us. If you don't see there's an independent variable preventing one from progressing compared to the other....

My did dad make me drive a manual toyota tercel to school. It's mind boggling that small car I was driving was getting close to 40 mpg, when modern day cars similar to it were only getting 30.

I've actually considered getting a Honda or Vespa hybrid scooter....

But I'd love this

And you don't think oil barons give money to those who have alternative means of cutting oil out of the market to keep them quiet?

Tesla can mass produce quicker but they getting paid to hold off.

You can thank Elon Musk. He was a billionaire from Paypal, and he's paving the way with Tesla. There's no stopping Tesla motors now and soon the rest of the industry is going to follow suit.

As 57 would say, the oil companies are soon going to be shaking their fists.

So did the federal government knowingly pick Solyndra because they knew it would fail in advanced?

I hope so. They have been keeping the world hostage for over four decades.
 
Someone and something is keeping tesla out of NJ. I believe NC won't allow tesla cars either.

Tesla cuts out the middlemen so car dealerships are fighting tesla big time
