Joe Buck: "(chuckle) Exactly. Puig, of course, has taken the league by storm since he came up, and many consider Freeman's win over him for the final vote to be an upset."
Tim McCarver: "Particularly since Puig, being from Cuba, could do a lot for the popularity of Major League Baseball in his homeland.

Joe Buck: "And Puig, excuse me, Freeman hits a high fly ball into deep right-field, and that ball is gone and the NL has taken the lead. ... So Freeman, NOT Puig, has put the NL on top here in the All-Star Game."
Tim McCarver: "And you just have to wonder what Puig must be thinking sitting at his home in Havanna knowing that this could have been him."
Joe Buck: "....And Freeman with hugs all around. Maybe he can give one to Puig."
