Flynn lawyered up...

All appearances suggest that the Trump Administration is lying about this, too. Pence was on TV today or yesterday saying that this was the first he'd heard of it. But apparently they were advised about it during the transition, through multiple channels. Seriously, WTF?

He would have had to fill out a disclosure form to get his job in the administration. If he didn't disclose this relationship, he committed a felony. It looks pretty likely that he's being squeezed by the FBI on this, as he should be.

I hope that Pence goes on the Sunday shows and has to answer questions about when he, the director of the transition, learned about this. Elijah Cummings sent him a letter about it on November 18.

This appears to be, at the very best, a cataclysmic case of poor judgment.

Read he retroactively filed it

Not a joke btw

had a national security advisor working for a foreign govt and he didn't even resign for his contact with that foreign govt

The Emoluments Clause says that "no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under [the U.S. government],

shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever,

from any King, Prince, or foreign State."
