Freedom of speech, huh?

With Twitter and Facebook banning trump, I wonder if we’ll ever have a day where Apple or google will ban a name or term so it could never be texted or messaged. I hope not but I could see it happening.

Of course they will

first it was alex jones and everyone was cool with it. Today was the President, and around 100,000 of his supporters.

"this can never happen again" will be a common refrain. get used to hearing it

yeah, i remember when you use to not be a loon and would actually bring freedom of speech cases/examples to the board

instead of you whine that there consequences sometimes for calling people fat lol

you are a good soldier defending censorship at all cost.

this thread is a good example of how trump just broke people.

before trump, libs cared about free speech

today - they unleash the censor police

yeah, it's everyone else that's broken on every single topic

being consistent on something isn't always good but i'm not sure what your question is directly inferring to

i scrolled through this thread, this thread is an actual free speech issue

your other thread is just whining about things that aren't free speech issues

man, i'm kind of pissed at myself that it took so long for me to come to the realization that you're Seymour Skinner lol

yeah, i saw your false equivalency post the other spot you posted that

you're really good at false equivalencies though, i'll give ya that

I like how the clip had a headline "Former President Obama condemns violent protest". I however see the BLM violence as retaliation not aggression. I disagree that killing unarmed black men is a huge problem, the problem comes in the mass incarceration of American citizens for morality crimes. Voting that people like me should be imprisoned is violence against me. Thats why I do root for violence against those that wish to do me harm. The laws and policing of this county do not conform to the will of the people and that is why we have BLM violence.

Some quotes for ya

"this was a... mostly a protest" (check)

"it is not generally speaking, unruly" (check)

"it is a principled stand" (check)

"any reasonable person would say we shouldn't destroy property, but these are not reasonable times" (check)

"show me where it says protestors are supposed to be peaceful" (check)

"people will do what they do" (check)

"this is how this country was started" (check)

"people get mad. and people get sick of it!: (check)

"most major movements in American history have started at the grassroots level" (check)

"and at some point, have turned into direct conflict with American government" (check)

All were said in that very short little clip. Were they all wrong?
