Nice start for Hoekstra. He's done pretty well in his first full year as a pitcher.

Nice shutout from the Danville pitchers. Tyler Owens went through the order without a scratch first time through. He loaded the bases with no outs in the fourth, but Filyer Sanchez worked out of it unscathed. 3-run HR for Connor Blair, his first HR of the year.

I wonder if Anderson could force his way up if young guys keep sucking at the big league level.

Anderson just puts up great numbers. I have no idea how good he will be but man he putting up some good numbers.

I can’t wait to see the MLB data on him. No way the spin rate numbers are legit.

The spin rate doesn’t match the production obviously, but I have a hard time thinking the spin rate numbers are wrong. People like Kiley have been mentioning in the past that the Braves has low spin rate numbers on him, so I doubt it’s off too much.

Just not really sure what to do with it.

Rangel's line looks odd. 12 hits and no runs in 3 innings? That's walking betwixt the raindrops type of luck.

2016 draft is looking pretty pretty good

Anderson
Wentz
Muller
Davidson
Clouse
Wilson
Cumberland (used in trade for Gausman)
Walker

Man, very clear why we have so much pitching depth.

Anderson is profiling like a stud. Can't wait to see how that command plays up at the big league level.

pretty clear Anderson’s early BB struggles weren’t close to real. he’s settling in quite nicely. BB numbers since that terrible 6BB game are beautiful.

Anderson’s “walk troubles” at age 21 were always the figment of an ignorant imagination. He may or may not end up with MLB SP caliber control, but it was never a real concern yet.

The K numbers and supposed lack of a breaking ball are very hard to line up. I would love to see Anderson get a spot start as soon as possible just for science.

Davidson is gonna be at least a great pen arm
