Anyone know if Vines is increasing his velocity at all? Has had a solid season and scouting reports talk about him still having a bit of projection left in his arm.

Hey thethe. I've not seen any increase at all. His FB is average but I've seen successful pitchers get by with less. He can spot this FB and offspeed offerings pretty well though. He is fun to watch pitch and I'm wary now about pitchers ramping up a few ticks with max effort. If he however gains just a couple of mph to his FB, look out. As is I really like him.
