Expects Yuge Games
The place for discussing Northern Florida social mores.

So does Matt now have to marry the young lady in question.

I turn to those who have local expertise in such matters.

Please do not post about politics in this thread. It is strictly anthropological in nature. With maybe a little bit of sociology, a closely related field.

I think in this current atmosphere it's impossible to separate politics from social mores, especially in a traditionally red state. But Fla, as we all know, is also very liberal and home to weird folk of all stripes.

Did Trump secretly pardon Gaetz before he left office? The people of Fla will surely forgive him his transgressions.

The further north in Florida you go the more deep south you get. Geography is a funny thing.

Ruh roh.

Some men see prostitutes.

I’d say this should eliminate him from holding public office personally but this is not what it’s being made out to be.

I just want to point out that Islam permits 3 wives. Don't know if it has made any inroads in Northern Florida.

I think barring some very interesting twists to come that calling what he allegedly has done trafficking is insane, but I would love to see the smug look get wiped from his face. I also don’t personally care about prostitution so long as it’s consensual, which we have no current reason to suspect it isn’t. I still find it funny that he’s possibly wrapped up in it.

I would imagine the term for this in Northern Florida is sugar daddyism. Same term as used in most of the rest of the country. But I'm not up on Northern Florida lingo and mores.

Sure sounds like Greenberg is about to sign a plea deal. I feel so conflicted. I cant help but laugh at yet another Trump butt buddy going to prison but I dont like losing a strong advocate for marijuana legalization in the Republican party.

Which GOP politicians should start worrying about what songs Matt Gaetz is going sing should be be charged?

I highly doubt Gaetz flips on anyone noteworthy.

Because he's clearly a man of principle?

It will all boil down to what if anything they think they can convict him on. If he's facing 20 years or more I think he'll rat on anyone and everyone, or make up any lie he thinks will shorten his sentence.

It's interesting how the prosecutors are dragging it out nice and slow. Let him stew in his own in his own sweat for a while. Everyday not knowing just makes him more panicky.
