Ivan at TC once again puts the small sample size bad luck into perspective. This team is much better than it's current record:

"As a team, no team’s wOBA (.313) is lower than its xwOBA (.354) by a greater margin except the Giants (and even then, it’s .298 to .341), and they have a ballpark excuse that doesn’t befit the Braves. On the pitching end, the team’s 112 ERA- is bad, but its 92 FIP- and 85 xFIP- (fifth-best in baseball) are quite good — opponents have simply had the second-highest BABIP in baseball when facing the Braves, and the fifth-highest HR/FB rate....When opponents’ BABIP in high leverage and/or runners in scoring position is basically .400 but yours is .200, all you can say is: welp."

Yeah. I fully expect us to rattle off a 10-game winning streak at some point this season.

Damn, the World Series is back on!

We need a legitimate bat at la esquina caliente.

Maybe we are watching Kris Bryant very closely this weekend.

I would prefer Jose Ramirez, though.

In the world of the absurd Acuña’s fWAR for the season so far is 1.5. The entire team’s (including Acuña) fWAR for hitters is 1.4. Talk about carrying the team.

Definitely an absurd number, but would anyone disagree with what it states? "Acuna has done more to win ball games than all other starting position players combined".

It seems accurate to me.

Man nobody wants to fckn play with a wind 20 mph in the hitters face..this is going to be a boring game.
