Yet he's only pitched on short rest one time in his career... when he was with the Braves the first time. Short rest has a bad vibe for me as it rarely goes well for any pitcher.

I think it’s been shown that only sinker ballers tend to pitch well on short rest, and they actually benefit from it. Morton is not a sinker baller.
