Why do you say that? Urias didn't look particularly great last night, so I'm not particularly terrified of him going again on two days rest. Obviously we could lose, but today's game is going to be much harder to win.

We got em the other night, but he's owned us. I expect a lot of smyly/ynoa tomorrow, who I think will get rocked

Yeah, I'm not a fan of short rest. For anyone. It rarely works. And using a live playoff game as a bullpen session shows a complete lack of understanding of pitcher prep. That was high leverage, high adrenaline, high octane and it will impact Urias' command and stamina Wednesday. Mark me.

I think it's entirely possible that the smartest guys in the room have outsmarted themselves. Of course they're still formidable. Guess we'll know this week.
 
Sounds to me like Scherzer may be worse for wear. More than has been indicated to date. You would think down 2-0, Dodgers would be going Buehler, Urias, Scherzer then come back to Buehler on Sunday

I have to agree with that sentence in bold.

The Dodgers took a proven formula, and tried to crank it up a notch. Now they are seeing that more isn't always better.
 
This might as well be an elimination game for the Dodgers. Hopefully their fans put their Chiefs jerseys on after tonight.
 
If we can just take one game in LA imo we are going to the series.
If they sweep us then I just feel like the pressure will be to much in Atlanta having to win two.
Hopefully we win today and don’t have to think about it!

Not that I'm complaining... but why is this game at 5pm EDT?

Would they want a full crowd for a NLCS game on the west coast?

Can only assume that they don't think there's a difference between 3pm and 5pm start.
