Braves projected lineup:

1. Heyward

2. BJ Upton

3. Freeman

4. Justin Upton

5. CJoh

6. Uggla, but why

7. Gattis

8. Simba

9. Santana

This is a very early thread because I'll be out until around game, but let's hope we can get the inning going the right way with a win! The Reds have been pretty good lately and the offense more than anything. Hopefully we can get quality start from all starters this series. We need the offense to bring it though. They can't expect the pitching to bring it all night and they just act like they don't have a job to do.

SO, let's get it going right!

Sorry to complain about Fredi again, but this lineup continues to be stupid and I feel he's keeping it this way out of pure stubbornness. Simba 8th, behind Uggla and BJ. Why? He kept him at lead-off for over half the year last season, FINALLY realized that mistake, and is now like "screw it he's staying at the bottom of the order regardless of anything or facts at all." He's just...so frustrating.

He's repeating his Simba mistake of last year with BJ this year, and is too dumb/stubborn to move on. I'm sure he will eventually. But why not right away when it's clear it's a mistake?

I do not understand the love Freddi has for Uggla. That guy is a complete negative on the team.

Just FYI, this is not the official lineup... just UNCBlue's prediction of what it will be.

I completely realize that. However, everything I said is applicable, because it's what Fredi has been doing all year.

Lineup per DOB.

Doumit, RF.
Uggla, 2B.
Freeman, 1B.
Laird, C.
Gattis, LF.
Pena, SS.
Johnson, 3B.
BJ, CF.
Santana, P.

:Alone:

I like Gattis 5th, gives Justin protection. But I don't like Uggla after Gattis as that gives Gattis no protection (I rather see CJ before Uggla). Plus I still don't like BJ batting second like pretty much everyone here.

That said, we need to get off to a good start tonight as the Reds have been hot. Plus their ace is starting in game three. So I'd like to take the first two games to be safe.
