Francoeur is going to wreak havoc tonight in response to the Phils not offering him a contract after last season! It will be the French and Phillian War.

Rained out in fourth, but Wisler looks ready for Day 1.

Looks much more like the Wisler we thought we were getting when we traded for him now that he's had more time to become comfortable. The only really hard-hit balls were Howard's flyball to RF and the liner that Aybar snagged.

Wisler really could be that guy. He showed a ton of promise last year before unraveling a little bit. Dude needs to relax and trust his stuff. His bad outings last year reminded me of Mike Minor's—he'd get in his own head and start nibbling when he got in trouble.

There's a lot to like. I think he did actually go through the process you describe, as he finished strong. He adjusted back. Very encouraging.

His K rate for a non-sinkerballer worries me a bit. I think his change will help a lot, assuming he's made some strides with his Hall of Fame tutor.

He could be a Permanent Brick of the Mukaki rebuild.
