GDT 4/17/18 vs Phiiiies

Interested to see what Folty does today. Very encouraged to start the season and if this is the year that he actually becomes the guy we think he is, it would be huge for this team moving forward.

The Phillies really are doing odd things.

The controversy of not starting Herrera opening days because his swing path wasn't conducive to hitting Teheran (supposedly), and then starting him against Teheran a week later is comical.

They have someone with too much sway and too little brains incorrectly using data and misidentifying it as "analytics".

Even if were good data, you can’t manage a 162 game season like that. Save that **** for the playoffs.

Their analytics department doesn’t realize that it takes talent on the field to implement their ideas. Teams like the Astros can make a lot of crazy stuff look good because of thier talent.

Acuna leads off and singles. Camargo hitting 2nd singles but Acuna out at 3rd I think, Peterson singles behind Camargo(to 2nd)

Olney tweeting that Stanton was just booed at Yankee stadium: GIDP with two on against the Marlins, down 3-0 (now 4-0). I'm sure he'll turn it around, but I'm not feeling a lot of sympathy for him (even if I don't blame him for influencing where the Marlins sent him).

He definitely looks like he’s pressing pretty hard. It’s bad though.
