The Braves look to blaze a trail back to .500 on 4/20. Julio Teheran tries to get back on track. Fredi trolls the Chop Country faithful with AJP in the lineup. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

1. Nick the Stick (RF) - The Greek Freak.
2. (E)rick Aybar (SS) - Swing hard in case you hot it, buddy.
3. Freddie Freeman - 1B - Has Mario Mendoza in his sights.
4. Adonis Garcia - 3B - 6 BB and 0 domestic abuse charges.
5. A.J. Pierzynski -C- Must be a typo.
6. Jelly Johnson - 2B - I don't think you're ready.
7. Jace Peterson - LF - OK, Skipper.
8. Mallex Smith -CF- Do you remember that one dude, many years ago, who mounted a one-man campaign for Esix Snead to make the club? Not that has anything to do with Mallex, I just hope that dude is somewhere, smiling.
9. Julio Teheran -P- Has a great pickoff move.

Come to think of it, I do remember that. Can't remember the poster though.

I actually do remember it, but I wanted to remove the name to protect the innocent. Or, at least to give him a chance to pipe up now if he happens to be here under a different handle.

Great effort by Castro there, almost got to it to make a Simmons like diving catch. But even without that he played the bounce perfect and threw it to second fast.

I wish we would just bite the bullet and play him at short. I understand the ramifications of that with regard to Aybar straight fir I understand the ramifications of that with regard to Aybar's trade value, but still...

I don't know if that argument holds since everyone in the league can check Aybar's defensive numbers at short and the more he plays there the worse they're headed. Might have a better argument spinning it as hey Aybar is a good shortstop and has a track record to prove it but Castro is just better so we moved Aybar to second. Honestly, I don't believe Aybar is going to have any trade value now or later. He is a bad hitter, bad defender and making Simmons money at short. Players like that are hard to give away even if you take on money in the deal.

Julio wants to get his butt home

Lol.

They are barreling him up pretty good...but unfortunately for the Dodgers you gotta earn homeruns in this park...this ain't the launching pad in ole ravine...ask C0ck Pederson how that's working out for him
