Bases loaded and the young Marlin's pitcher has walked two in the inning. Nick swings at the first pitch into a double play.

Having a potential 2nd-3rd with 0 out and Kemp/Markakis up tells me that I challenge any close call regardless since it's the 7th inning. Instead, it turns into a runner on 2nd with 1 out and nothing comes of it.

That could come up huge knowing our bullpen and their propensity for giving up home runs.

Is it me or is our baserunning costing us lots of potential runs?

Baserunning has been an issue for the Braves for pretty much my whole life, it seems. I don't get it. Elite baserunners come to the Braves and turn to just above average and above average turn to average to below, etc. It boggles the mind.

Braves Way.
