GDT 6/10/22: Braves vs Pirates - Bringing The Heat

sort of excited about this Strider start. Hoping he can build off his other starts and feel more confident about just pounding the zone against a weaker lineup than he has previously faced.

Braves have the rest of this series and then a series with the Nats and Cubs before they start facing better teams.

Then they play the Giants and Cards within a two and a half week span. The current competition for the last two wild card spots. Would be nice to put the beat down on both of those teams.

Tonight won't be an easy matchup. The kid Contreras we are facing has looked really good through his first 3 starts and was also a top prospect

Man, he’s not getting extremely clear strike calls at all

Except for the strike-three to Vogelbach that was definitely high. Doesn’t really make up for all the other misses; and likewise is frustrating because if an ump is going to stray from the rulebook, you’d at least like to see them do it consistently.

Dammit Ronald. Runner on 3rd so a fly ball scores him and you run into the 2nd out. Pure stupidity.

Snit needs to start throwing up the red light if guys can’t figure it out.

He had the throw beaten easily if the 2B wasn’t blocking it so badly. Second time I’ve seen that this series. If he does it again someone needs to knock him into Cf.
